gas tanks removal
I am trying to remove my gas tank on my 95 balzer. Now in the manual it says to use 2 wrenches to remove the lines that worked fine for the one the other is a bit tricky the fitting on the rubber line moves but the threded fittin on the har line does not want to move. I tried to move it but it only twisted the hard line. My question is out of those 2 lines does only one of them come apart? I mean the first one the threaded fitting was seperate from the hard line like a coupler but the 2nd one the threaded fiting seems to be attached to the hard line and the rubber ine just twists. Could it just be becasue of all the rust on it? Maybe I should just try more blaster?

Re: gas tanks removal
ok well I could not get them to turn. I had to cut the one hard line that comes off the fuel pump. My question now is do I have to buy a entire assembly or can I buy sy the sending unit seperate? I know in my 96 S-10 (2wd 2.2L) I had to buy the entire thing. Or could I say use a piece of brake line and a coupler and just extend the hard line and put a new fitting on it so I can reconnect it to the rubber line?
