Gas mileage, what do I do?

Hey, I have a 2001 Blazer Xtreme and my gas mileage sucks really bad idk how bad im gettin but it just isnt the same any more. I took it to Auto Zone and they hooked it up to that thing under my dash and that does not work so no power will get to there programmer. If anybody can give me any suggestions at all please Reply or email me @ big_tymer08@hotmail.com Thanx.

First would be to get us the avg mpg.

Is the SES light on ?
Go to another autozone or advanced auto and have someone who knows how to work the scanner use it. The ignition has to be on

The ignition was on. It has worked before but for some reason it isnt working. No the SES light is not on but my service engine soon light is on. Idk why cause the programmer at Auto Zone would not work. Thanx Colton.
