Full Size bench seat...
I know this might sound pointless, and to a point, stupid...
My friend wrecked his 2001 Silverado a few days ago, and is now parting it out. He said he would give me the front bench seat for $10...Im wondering, is it possible to fit the Silverado's bench seat in the Blazer? (Yes, I know that the center console would need to be removed...) Thanks for the help! |

Re: Full Size bench seat...
Seat bolt holes need to be 16 inch wide(center to center) and 14 1/8 front to rear.
Seat height is 38 inches (electric seats can vary due to electric assembly goes up and down). Seat width is approximately 22 inches, across top of seat which is the widest point. specs for the seats...what are the stock seats measurements? (pouring rain outside right now, and would prefer not to get soaked.. )Last edited by goblue9976 : 06-22-2006 at 07:49 PM. |

Re: Full Size bench seat...
I say buy the things for $10, take your seats out and see if they fit. If they don't then you have a set of seats you can put up on ebay for $20 and let people bid away at them. You can't lose money on the things if they're in decent shape. Seats are fairly easy and painless to remove and put back in so maybe an hour of your time tops to see if one seat fits or not.

Re: Full Size bench seat...
ok...i found the specs on silverado seats:
40" tall 25" Deep 12.5" from bottom of frame, to top of cushion 22.5" wide 18.5' deep (frame itself) Is there a place to find the dimensions of the Blazer's seat? (its in the shop for shot water pump...) Last edited by goblue9976 : 06-24-2006 at 04:09 PM. |
