fuel gauge flickering



it only does this when im sitting still.any suggestions?

Any other electrical stuff going on? Check the battery voltage at idle VS 2000 rpm, Should be about 13.5 other than that maybe the resistor in the sending unit has gone retarded.

mine does the same thing,its probaly the fuel level sensor.they arent the greatest.ive got one sittin on the shelf at work,im just to lazy to change it out.

I am having the same problem on a 2000 zr2 there is a service bullitin out could anyone look up the details on the bullitin

fuel pump/sending unit... $1300 at the "steal"ership for me...

you need to drop the tank to do it...

$280 on ebay for the part... ARGH!!!
