Front wheel bearing on a 4WD
Hi,
I got a noise around my front right wheel, especially on left curves when there's lots of pressure on it. I suspect a used / worn wheel bearing. I never replaced a wheel bearing on a 4WD and I cannot figure out in the part list what part I should change in this case. Is the Axle Shaft Bearing (outer I guess) the culprit or both inner/outer? Or should I change the whole Hub assembly with axle bearing. As my vehicle is not imported here, is there an easy way to diagnostic what's going on? Thanks in advance for your help |

Re: Front wheel bearing on a 4WD
on a 4wheel drive you have to replace the bearing hub. no way to replace the bearings only

Re: Front wheel bearing on a 4WD
Thanks for your help, even if the price of a front hub itself is a bad news compare to a single bearing!
