Front End Work - What to change

I've got enough Mileage on the Envoy and think its time to do the front end...

It squeaks constantly even after greasing, it's making solid hitting sounds (steel on steel) and the passenger tire is wearing excessively on the outside edge...

What should i change/replace?

THanks

It can be a combination of several things like tie rods, ball joints, idler arm, pitman arm, shocks, wheel alignment. These are all things that can contribute to your problem.

There are no set mileage standards for replacing worn front suspension parts. If you like spending money, change it all and be done with it. Otherwise, take it to a competent alignment shop and they will tell you what is worn.
