Electrical Problem

I have a 98 2dr Jimmy, and about a month ago I had the piece of plastic trim that is on the cieling right infront of the back glass off. In the middle of working on it, the light installed in the peice went out. After I was done I come to notice that the two lights in my front cieling console were out as well. A few days later I notice the light underneath my hood is no longer working. And yesterday I discovered that my electronic 4 wheel drive is not working either (unfortunalty it was while putting a boat in the water and my rear was stuck in the water ). It is an inconvience not having any interior lights at night, and not having 4X4 just plain sucks. Any ideas on what I may have done? I know we checked the under the hood light with a circuit tester, and it had no juice. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks.

Re: Electrical Problem

Pinch a wire in the rear light, causing a short and blown fuse, causing you to beat your head into the wall for alittle while? Comes to mind, don't ask how I know

Re: Electrical Problem

first place to check is your fuse panel then work back from there.
