droped blazer question

I bought a blazer with a drop suspension on it and i was wondering how i can tell how much of a drop it has on it for ordering new shocks or if I ever have to order parts?

other question was: how hard is it to either redo or replace the black trim pieces around my back "cargo" windows on my two door, they have been chewed up by the sun over time and it kinda looks like crap up close, would i be better off just sanding them down to smooth them out a bit, tape it off, and paint or is it simple to replace them? where would i go to order them?
