Re: difference in 2wd and 4wd
the 4wd trucks have a +40 offset which means that the hub mounting flange on the wheel is 40mm from the center of the wheel twords the outside of the wheel. The 2wd have a 0mm offset which means that the hub mounting flange is right in the center of the wheel. So if u mount 2wd rims on a 4wd the wheels will stick out 40mm or 1.57". I have seen 2wd rims on a 4wd and it looks very bad in my opinion.

Get corvette wheels instead, they look better anyway. they'll bolt right up without spacers

Re: difference in 2wd and 4wd
All vettes, or 93+ F-body Camaro's & Firebirds. Older F-bodys will stick out like a 2WD S-10 Wheel.

Re: difference in 2wd and 4wd
Thanks, your pictures really put it in perspective. I might try something else out, but on the other hand its 4wd and to give it a decent stance, it looks better to have your rim/tire setup to look beefy and maybe stick out a little. Lots of ideas flowing now thanks. |
