Did it come with remote unlock?

My girl just picked up an '03 Blazer. The dealership didn't have a key fob for it, but I think it probably came with one when it was new. Is there a way to tell on the build sheet or with the VIN number?

If I end up picking one up for it, does anyone here know how to program the stock key fob?

In the glove box there is a decal labeled Service Parts Identification. On it you will find lots of 3 character codes, look for "AUO" that is the remote entry system id. I bought a couple of remotes off of ebay and the local GMC dealer parts guy looked up the programming procedure and gave it to me over the phone.

From that label you can decode exactly what your truck was equipped with when it was shipped.
