Ya I have the seats. I love them. I had mixed feelings about some of the other parts of the Diamond Edition though. They had brushed aluminum grille guards, side steps, interior and exterior badging and quilted leather interior parts. I liked the seats and the brush guard but I always thought the painted center of the back bumper made it look a little ghetto.

Re: diamond edition jimmy?

i love the diamond editions. top of the line Diamond Edition has the envoy HID headlights too. i have heated seats in my jimmy and had them in my envoy, so that isn't that huge of a selling point for me, but i think they look awesome inside and out. definately my favorite s-series along with a Ty.

Re: diamond edition jimmy?

Wow, that Jimmy in the fist Post looks alot like mine!

Last year:

http://images6.fotki.com/v79/photos/...M002434-vi.jpg
http://images6.fotki.com/v79/photos/...M002433-vi.jpg

Recent:
ZR5 wheels for winter use
http://images9.fotki.com/v184/photos...M003365-vi.jpg
Summer wheels back on
http://images9.fotki.com/v187/photos...SC00158-vi.jpg

Most people either love or hate the interior. I like it because it's not like every other Jimmy on the road. The seats are super comfortable. The front brush guard is a joke. Pretty much just a metal frame with plastic pieces to give it the shape. I'd like to mount lights on it but there's no place strong enough to mount them.

I was up in Oshkosh WI over the weekend and saw a pewter JDE. I like my blue much better. I've only seen a few other JDE's in person.

Looks maybe, but it's no more offroad than any other Jimmy.

Here's how it looked with the stock wheels on it.

I like the interior on it, but it doesnt have the yellow blinkers, just at the corners? are those the same as they used on the jimmy with an envoy package?

The JDE can be had with the standard non-fog headlights (fog lights are on the grill guard) or with the HID lights. The non-fog headlights are the same as any other Jimmy or Sonoma w/o fogs.

It may have come that way from the dealership but not the factory. The wheels came silver and the brushguard came silver with black plastic trim.

It would be interesting to see how it looks all blacked out.

Re: diamond edition jimmy?

I love my Diamond, wouldn't trade it for anything, and those ugle seats are the most comfortable seats i have ever had in a car or truck, nothing compares to pleated leather. The HID's do suck, the only down side i have found so far.
