deal...or no deal

Okay, need some imput here. 1997 GMC Jimmy SLT 130K, leather int, sun roof, power windows and locks, cassette player, new transmission, alternator, radiator, tires. Problem is, it needs either a head gasket or a new head. The guy will take 500 for it, but being short on fund i cant decide whether or not i wanna make this commitment...opinions welcome

The body an the rest are Worth that Much Get it an Build a Motor or rework that 1 for 500 its a good deal if ya know how to do the stuff.. Just my 2 cents

Seems like a good deal if you can do the engine work yourself. You'll spend a big chunk of change if you take it to a shop to have it fixed.
