Re: Dash trim
Im pretty sure there are no aftermarket bezels
if you want something different then you're going to have to do it yourself a lot of people take them out smooth them and then paint them |

Re: Dash trim
Doesn't the trailblazer editions have a smooth woodgrain bezel?

Re: Dash trim
I think I have found some but I dont know what kind of quality they are. They have wood grains both fake and real, carbon fibers and metals and you get the bezel, parts on your doors where the window switches are, i think you get a plate to go over the headlight/domwlight switches and with or without the over head console (prices of course change depending on material/whats included. Look on carid.com, thats were they are

Re: Dash trim
Those are all stick on overlays, not replacements. I had an SLP fake carbon fiber overlay on my Sonoma. It fit well and looked decent but you can't get them from SLP, I found it on ebay. They used them on their Seeker and Xpress S trucks. I forget the name of the company that actually made them for them.

Re: Dash trim
Which part of I had an overlay on my Sonoma didn't you get? Nobody is going to go through the expense of manufacturing a complete replacement bezel the size of the one in the S trucks. I don't know of ANY vehicle they make a complete replacement for, just overlays.

Re: Dash trim
You might be able to find real wood pieces for some high dollar cars (M-B, etc) but Zeeke is right. Nobody is going to make real wood pieces for an S based anything. Just no market and high cost of manufacturing. How many would buy a $5000 kit with real wood for their truck? Might get a couple with custom rides but that wouldn't come close to offsetting the cost of R&R, tooling, etc.

Re: Dash trim
Speak English numbnuts! I bought the stick on overlay on Ebay as left over overstock from the SLP Seeker/Xpress program. I believe it may have been Wood Dash Kits that made them. I bought it back in 2004 and sold the truck a couple years ago so I don't have any of the documentation from it anymore.

Re: Dash trim
And pretty much all the aluminum/billet dash pieces for every Chevy truck I've seen are overlays that screw on. Also, that site is selling the same stuff all the other sites are. |

Re: Dash trim
Hi There!
Any idea where I can get a Dash Bezel in a Tan...Beige Color to fit my 2002 S-10 Extended Cab? It must fit over the RDS Radio/CD currently in the truck. Thanks Bluebird |
