Coolant leak fixed but now A/C comp clutch disengages after engine warms up.

I have a 98, 4.3L 2wd chevy blazer. Recently it started leaking coolant from the driver side of the engine. I took it to the repair shop and they fixed the leak, but now the A/C compressor clutch disengages as soon as the engine reaches its normal operating temperture.

Can somebody give me a clue as to what could have gone wrong?

let me ask you a few questions that will help.....
1- does the a/c work as cold as usual b4 it shuts off?
2- does it go back on at all?
3- the temp. stays at 210 or less?
4- ur temp gauge is working smoothly? Not going up and down all the time?
i have reasons for all these questions.....

Hi, thanks for your help.

1- Yes
2.- No. It works again only after the engine has been turned off for a while and cooled down.
3.- Yes
4.- Gauge works smoothly.
