Compatible years?

Have a 95 S10 Blazer 4x4 and looking to find out what other years are compatible for parts. Tried doing some searches but not finding exactly what I need and hopefully someone can help.

I know they run in year groups like 88-95 96-2004 etc etc.. Just wondering if anyone knew if body/parts off a 94 would work on a 95 or what group it was in.

Thanks!

Re: Compatible years?

it depends on what parts you need. generally, most parts will fit from 95-04 or 05.

the front ends, interiors and rear bumper are the same for 95-97
and then the same things are different for a 98+

but it mainly depends on what parts you need. a 94 is a first gen which will be a lot different but may still share the same part. body parts will not fit.

95-97 on the doors, 95 -03 on the fenders, glass is same, grille, headlights, bumpers DUH. Go to lmctruck.com look through their online catalog or order on. That answer any questions you have about this

Re: Compatible years?

i think the front end clip is 95-97 but the fenders and hood doors and rear bumper from 99 and 2002 would fit
and interior parts would be 95-97 under the hood would be 95 and up i think

Under the hood is 96 and up. 95 is its own 'bastard/mutt' year, but shares many of the same with the 94 and older.
Rear suspension is compatable for any year (but different from 4 door and 2 door), but, front suspension is different spindles for 98+ 2wd. 4wd front suspension is torsion which obviously is different from a 2wd.

98+ rear bumper will work on 95-97 but ONLY if used with the 98+ end caps as they are longer than the 95-97.

Also, IIRC, the s-series SUVs came out in 95, while the s-series TRUCKS came out in 94 (for second gens)
