Common Place For Dash Vacuum Leaks Late Blazer

I am trying to get a check list organized for common places for vacuum leaks in the dash of a late model blazer. I have searched but came up with fragmented answers. So the question is where are the common places? I can hear a leak, just not sure where to tear into first. Links to previous threads are welcome as well.

If you are hearing it in the dash of the truck then I am pretty sure that the HVAC stuff is the only vacuum operate things inside the truck. The first and probably easiest place to check would be at the back of the heater control switches.

Found the leak. It is the vacuum / electric rotary selector switch. Took it apart cleaned it up. Helped a bit but can still hear a leak depending on position. anyone know if that switch can be bought seperate? Or do i need the whole assembly?

I cant find them online at the major walkin parts store. I will call a couple and if that dont work out I will call the dealer. The few I found on line in a gogle search were the entire assembly.
I post back when i find the source / price.

Re: Common Place For Dash Vacuum Leaks Late Blazer

After calling around it seems the switches are not sold by them selves only the entire assembly. Went to the local good guy dealership and had them order one for next day. Shipping and all around $140. Little steep, but dont seem crazy bad when used ones from places with a good reputation are around $100. Considering it is my daily I dont feel quite so bad about it. I will post the actual part number when i get it.
