clutch switch issue

wassup people, i got a small problem im looking to get some feedback on. i had a remote starter put on my 01 blazer 5 spd. well, since your not supposed to put a remote starter on a standard vehicle, the installer took the clutch switch apart and figured out how to bypass it. since he did that, the abs light and service engine light have been on. i took my truck to a local shop and had the codes read and it said that it has a clutch switch malfunction. so...i had him remove the wires that were hooked up to the clutch switch and the lights are still on. i took it again to the shop and this time it reads clutch switch malfunction / open circuit. i went back to the installer and he told me that everything was put back to the way it came from factory.
so, i purchased a new clutch switch and i took the panel under the dash out and looked at it and i found where it is, i just want some idea on how to remove and replace it before i get in there and start taking it out, any help is appreciated....
