Re: Clunking?????

ya it is in many many ways, and im pretty sure mine is on the back, but what has me stumped is why dose it do it only when its wet and rarely when its dry, unless being wet any little looseness causes it to move more......idk though

dont do it while its on a lift, all that weight will be pulling downward as your trying to tighten it (upwards)

do it with a load on it (on the ground)

just make sure your blocks are straight, and the "nipple" is in the hole on the leaf spring

when its wet out, the tires spin more, therefore moving the rear end more

Re: Clunking?????

use an impact.
you wont really need to lay under it.

if you cant get one in there, use a ratchet, might have to cut a little bit of the threads off so the socket will reach the nut.
