Unhappy Cant put the drivers Window back in

Okay, I know this is stupid, but I was replacing the power window regulator in my 1998 blazer and ended up taking the drivers window out to get at the regulator. I've put the regulator on, but now for the life of me I cant get the window back in. I've been trying for 4 hours now....I'm actually taking a breather now. I start to put it in by putting the front (shorter) side of the window in the rubber track, the I push it down a little and try to get the back bottom edge in the back rubber guide, but it's no use...I"m about 2 inches too big. I keep bending, twisting, pulling but no luck. I'm at my wits end here. Can anyone help me out or guide me a bit on how to do this? I'm starting to lose it.
