Button on rear hatch
00 Blazer 4 door 4wd:
The black button about the size of a half dollar on the back of the rear hatch, what does it do? I push it, and nothing happens. I tried pushing it with the doors locked and unlocked, and nothing happens. I assumed it lifted the glass hatch, and for security, it doesn't work if the doors are locked. Probably not worth fixing if it's broke, but I'm just curious. thanks, |

yeah that button opens the rear hatch glass u push it then lif the glass it will only work when the doors are unlocked i believe at tleast that is what it does on my 99 it is located where laot of people have keyholes

yes it pops open the lock on the glass...but like said before the doors need to be unlocked...
