bumper question
I have a 97 Blazer and I was looking at putting a 98 S-10 bumper on it. Is it a simple swap or is there other parts involved? Also if anyone has pics of this that would be cool too. Thanks.

Re: bumper question
I think there are no other parts involved as far as I know. its a fairly simple upgrade. you might get better luck in the body/paint section

Re: bumper question
I was thinking, were you referring to the rear bumper or front? If the rear you don't need additional parts, If the front, you will need the 98+ valance and you may or maynot have issues with the grille...You also won't have front blinker lights (which is illegal) unless you convert the lights to the 98+ and to do that you will need to get a new core support and grille as well...
I should have looked at your message a little longer before I opened my mouth... ![]() |

Re: bumper question
today I'm welding shut all the holes in my old 96 bumper and filling the light cutouts too. Also gonna form the endcaps to the bumper permanently with some Duramix or something like that, sand it all smooth and paint it up. I'm gonna make it a smooth 96 bumper so I can fit my 96 valence and have no issues with a grille gap.
