Bravadas Anyone?
So im thinking since i need a winter vehicle a latemodel Olds Bravada would be nice. Ya know 4 doors, backseat, AWD blah blah blah and still stick with an s-series right? Saw a redish burgandy one the other day and i love that color since then my mind has been coming up with all kinds of ideas, mainly simple but i was curious to see what you guys have come up with . . . anything?

Re: Bravadas Anyone?
What's the question?
A bravada is just a blazer or a jimmy with all sorts of bells and whistles. getting one (1999) myself as soon as the damn bank gets the lady that I'm buying it from her title. The 02 and up models are really nice looking and have the newer engines. In fact, I think the new body style looks pretty damn good. |

Re: Bravadas Anyone?
no, a bravada is a blazer/jimmy with the bolts tightened on it
![]() and yeah, I'm failing to see what you're asking... |

Re: Bravadas Anyone?
Yeah, I'm not seeing the question here....
However, I bought my Bravada for the sole purpose of swapping in an LSx motor. Wanted to do AWD in a 2nd Gen, and decided the on-demand type tcases were nice. Plus, for whatever reason, Bravadas seem to be going for less money than Blazers or Jimmys (or where when I bought 2+ years ago). There were definitely better deals to be had on Bravadas 'JustDreamin' |

I want to get a Bravada for a daily too. They're like the luxury blazer.

Re: Bravadas Anyone?
I had to choose between a Blazer and a Bravada when I bought mine and I chose the Blazer because it was basically the same interior (except for the wood stuff and Oldsmobile symbols) and it had selectable 4WD, which I liked. The Bravadas don't give you the choice of 2WD. Also, I liked the Blazer front end better.
Edit: Mine's an LT with all the options, except the Bose stereo thing, that's why I said basically the same interior. The Bravadas just came standard with the options that were in mine, pretty much. Last edited by ExtCab96S_Dime : 12-04-2008 at 02:36 PM. |

Re: Bravadas Anyone?
Sry for not being more clear. I know what a bravada is just are there any nice ones on here, like lowered wheels and mirrors etc.

Re: Bravadas Anyone?
They only switch to 4wd when the rear wheels are slipping. just like when you turn on the auto 4wd button on the nice NP8 Jimmy and Blazers. I also think the front grill of the Bravada sucks though. I would put a Jimmy grill on it before a blazer grill though. |
