Re: brake question

chances are, the slide pins are frozen.... if you are 4wd, the bolts go thru a slide pin in a rubber boot.... they have to slide freely, so when the caliper pushes on one side, it equals the pressure to both pads..... thats the most likely problem..... also, you can check the caliper by using a digital thermometer (gun style).... Theyre like 10 bucks if you dont have

drive around stopping hard for 10 min or so, and check the temp on the rotors thru the wheel..... a stuck caliper will be the hot side...

to do it right, id change the pads, calipers, and brake hoses on both sides, but i hope i helped ya out

Re: brake question

it's on the rear, "stealer"ship is suggesting it's a locked parking brake...

Re: brake question

is your parking brake intregrated in the caliper or is it shoes inside the rotor?

But I agree with LT1S10onAir

Re: brake question

they are usually inside the rotor. alot of times the little hold clips break and then the shoe rubs its self away inside the rotor/drum deally.
