Anyone else have problems with their gas gauge needle jumping around when the tank is full or half full?

Re: bouncing gas gauge
Was told its a spot in the fuel pump that "peaks" at a certian level and causes the gauge to jump, now i just have to get the dumbasses that warranty the truck to fix it. last time they said it was the gauges faces that i got doing it and didnt believe me about doing it before then.
