Blazer Transmission question

I Have a '92 s10 blazer 4.3 trottlebody 4wd and my transmission (700r4) is going bad from the previous owners rodding on it...i have a chance to buy a '94 s10 blazer with the 4.3 vortec engine will the transmission out of the '94 blazer fit up to my 4.3 trottlebody engine? i think it will just want to get some confirmation =)

i think it will fit too but this is the 2nd gen forum section both 92 and 94 are 1st gen
