Blazer parts wanted

I couldn't post in wanted to buy, so here it goes. I need a factory OE bumper for a 96 Blazer LS with the rub strip. I purchased a aftermarket one and it doesn't look right. I would like to find some factory drivinglights/ foglamps and the lower valance below the front bumper.

You can't post that here. The classifieds (want to buy section) are down right now. Wait until they are back up, then post it there. It wont be long.

The metal is thinner and the surface isn't as smooth as the OE bumper, was just trying to save some cash and fix as quick as I could. I should have held out for a used OE bumper. The aftermarket rubber strip, the chrome part of it, well fake chrome, looks like crap now.

Re: Blazer parts wanted

It's real chrome, just not triple nickel plated. The thinner metal isn't a big deal as it can't be much thinner.

I have a smooth GM chrome bumper and the chrome on it says it is triple nickel, but it's not no where neat being perfectly smooth imo. I got mine new off ebay from a guy that had bought it from a dealership that went out of business for $110 shipped.

Re: Blazer parts wanted

That's just normal with aftermarket stuff.

But to the average person, they look the same. You have to really knitpick it to notice. I've had an aftermarket bumper for years. Looks just like an OEM (if they ever made a smooth chrome one for my year), unless you really scrutinize the edges.
