Re: bellhousing bolt

pull out your tranny xmember, and let your tranny hang, that may let you get it.

i member i also left my tranny hang under my truck by the motor, i had a ton more room.

and if that dont work, you could unbolt your rad support, and front 2 or 4 body mounts from your frame, and jack up your body.

Re: bellhousing bolt

the way to do it is to seperate the motor mounts. pull up on the engine with your hoist or picker. start shaking the engine chains until the engine starts to turn down on the drivers side. if you have a y pipe (cross over) you have to drop the hangers in front of the cat.once it turn a few degs set the engine back down. you should be able to get it with a 9/16's swivel cap socket and 18 inches of extensions.

Or you can do it like some i know drill a 1 inch hole thru the floor slash firewall.

Dont forget the 3 ground wirs on the back side of the heads or the tranny lines bolted to the side of the oil pan. (it sucks when you rip those out) lol

you cant get it with a normal swivel behind a socket. you have to use a 9/16 swivel socket. we normally dont put that one back in on this application. it's right above the pin and there is a bolt 3 inch's below it.
