Re: bad idea?
it depends what you are wanting to do to it, and what year it is
....but yes most parts i have seen are alittle more expensive on blazers 98+........spindels for instance are alot more on blazers than trucks....and baggin blazers are alot more expensive (for the rear) I dont know about lifting them. Imo opinion its worth it, i think they stand out more than some trucks |

Re: bad idea?
Yeah, what year and what direction (up or down). 98+ blazers get the better brakes... and the aftermarket for them suffers b/c of it. The springs and control arms are the same, but the spindle and everything on it is a completely different design.

Re: bad idea?
omg yes spindles are more...a 6$ bearing goes bad in a 98+ blazer/jimmy/bravada...and you just lost 250$....also depending on the model...mine has 4wheel disk and double piston front...so brakes are more expensive...other than that nothing really different...and no its not a bad idea...i love blazers almsot as much as jimmy's :-X and they are fairly dependable vehicles...and mucho potential...performance wise...and looks
