Re: Bad Gas Mileage!!!

That's actually about what I get around town, maybe 20 miles more though. Town driving ruins gas mileage.

Re: Bad Gas Mileage!!!

Why are you using 93? I would use regular, less ur running forced induction or you need the extra octane due to your tune.

Its been proven that people who put higher octane gas in a car that does not need it normaly gets worse gas milage then with regular.

Re: Bad Gas Mileage!!!

I assume you've upgraded your air filter to something more free flowing like K&N or Airaid...something like that? Changed your fuel filter lately? An old clogged fuel filter may give you problems...had your injectors cleaned or if older carb tuned? o2 sensor is not a bad way to go either. If it is old and you don't know when it was replaced last...replace them.

Keeping your foot off the gas pedal..driving the speed limit..no jackrabbit starts is the easiest and cheapest way to start. Of course if you have mechanical peroblems this will only get you so far.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes. I get between 16 and 21 mpg in my Jimmy. 16 is around town and 21 usually is highway trips. mixed driving I get around 18-19
