I Got a 98 Blazer The front axle will not engage no matter what i do the hubs lock in fine and the t/c locks in fine but the cable will not pull that goes from the actuator to the axle.
I Just picked up a 85 jimmy today from a buddy of mine and i know all the 4wd works on it. But My ? is does anybody know whether or not the front diff will work out of an 85 jimmy in my 98 blazer. i got stuck on a snowflake today i was a little bit pissed off. |

Re: Axle ?
The axle isnt your problem. Under the battery, the vaccum acuator is under there and is most likely the problem.

Re: Axle ?
I already replaced the actuator when i bought the truck that what the guy i bought it from told me was wrong with it and that wasnt what was wrong the new one will only pull the cable about an 1/8th of an inch. i even tried to pull on it with vice grips it wont pulll any farther.
