are the dash lights bulbs or LED's

I was wondering my service engine light burnt out the other day and going to pull the dash but is it a bulb or should i go gget a new dash becouse its a LED ?

its just a bulb, i think its a t1 or something like that. very small

They are bulbs. They are also fairly expensive because they don't want them to burn out often. I'd replace all the bulbs in there if you are going to pull. May be a bit expensive, but sometimes getting to the back of the panel is a PIA.

my mechanic was going to charge me 50 dollars to do the bulb and ill bring the bulbs

how much do you think the bulb might be

they are t1 bulbs u can get them at superbrightleds.com and id replace all of them. there is a thread on here. just search for it.

Change it to LEDs

the bulbs are like $2 for 2 of the little buggers if you can reuse the socket, if you can't reuse it they jump to like $6 a bulb I think.
