Anyone with bags.

A friend of mine is getting ready to bag his Blazer and he was wondering where to mount his air tank. He's only doing the front for now, but he's concerned about mounting the tank in the cab because of compressor noise. Im sure some of you have mounted tanks under your Blazers. Where are your tanks mounted, and what size tank are you able to fit underneath.

Re: Anyone with bags.

Its an 03 Xtreme. He's probably gonna be goin with a single 450. I think he wants to figure out if theres a good way to mount everything underneath to keep the area behind the seats clear. Thanx for the pic, I like that setup.

Re: Anyone with bags.

You can mount that compressor as far away from the tank as you want, anywhere. Just have to run some airline.

Re: Anyone with bags.

he wouldnt want a edc would he. i think theres some room in the rear side skirts for comps. i dont no what your plans are gut if you take the airbox out ans get creative you could make a tank there {maybe}.theres some room behind that bs spare tire thing.

Re: Anyone with bags.

my 2 comps and tank are in the truck. i put the holes for airline in front of gas tank in an area that will be resheetmetaled when i get the back done. its a little loud, but its really quiet from outside so when i hit switches people dont really expect it or get freaked out by the valve noise (which some people like but i dont really)
