anyone with 98+ running Caspers o2 sim?

I've removed by catalytic converter, and went with an o2 simulator from Casper's Electronics, but I'm still getting a CEL (I think it's code P0240) indicating that the catalyst system is below efficiency. I have been working with CE's technical support, but so far, to no avail. The connectors on Blazers/Jimmy's are different than that of an s10/sonoma, which explains why none of the pickup truck guys have a problem. I was just wondering if anyone with a 98+ blazer/jimmy has any similar experiences with CE's products.

Ack! I do not know the resolution either, but will follow this thread. I was (actually today) going to order one for my 03 blazer, but now will hold off, hoping you get this resolved! Please post when you find out what's up.

interesting...i've been wanting to do this mod also. how much better is it to gut the cat rather than to go with a hi-flo cat?

a hi-flo cat is a waste of money on our newer trucks. the only reason to gut/remove it is for sound and making sure that little yellow "check engine" light on your dash actually works.

I'm interested in this too. My air injection check vavle failed, and melted all the non metal parts the valve was suooposed to protect. So I plugged them on both cyl banks. Now I got a steady SES light. I wonder what o2 sensor is responsible for that?

Re: anyone with 98+ running Caspers o2 sim?

well, to bring this thread back, I still have yet to have this resolved by Casper's. If you check the thread at their forums (link above), I started the post on 7/20 and have yet to have a working product. If you guys are interested in this, PLEASE call/email (or better yet - reply to my post on their site) for a status of an o2 sim for our trucks!
