Anyone take apart a rear wiper motor?

The rear wiper motor on 2001 Jimmy not working. Checked electrical connection and getting voltage. Upon further inspection, motor wants to turn gear but it appears the shaft is somehow frozen inside the case. The outside of the case where it exits the truck body (where wiper arm attaches) looks somewhat corroded and I think the metals bonded together. I have tried turning the arm with pliers while a friend turns on the wiper but I cannot get the shaft to budge. Is there any way to disassemble this? I would really hate dropping $55 on a motor when I may be able to fix this myself with just a little of my time used.

I have all common hand tools as well as a shop press and other items, so if there is a way to take apart I should be able to do it.
