It's on mautofied. The guy that owns it now is not the builder and supposedly it is done right, that's all I know.

Re: Anyone have info on this BD blazer?

Ive seen a picture of it in minitruckin once and i remember the quote was something like "This is the definition of clean, anyone that saw it knows what we are talking about".

But dont make any decisions before the owner tells you more about it. If he wants to sell it, he should take pics of whatever you want.

Re: Anyone have info on this BD blazer?

Yeah I wanted to get pics of the suspension work out back just to see the way it was set up and all he sent me was pics of the exterior and some of the interior. I asked again for the pics of the suspension work and he just said that he didn't have any and that it was done right. The interior and exterior look to be done to a very high quality though.

Re: Anyone have info on this BD blazer?

Yeah that's the pics he sent me.

I'm starting to wonder if this isn't one of those trucks that a guy took to a good bodyshop, interior guy, and did all the suspension work himself and didn't do it right.

Re: Anyone have info on this BD blazer?

well...maybe it doesn't drive. Although I wouldn't mind driving a properly bagged truck that far, I don't know about a body dropped one cause it'd suck if something happened then you have to worry about paint chips. Do you know if he has a trailer? Also one thing that would keep me from driving that far is if you backed out for some reason.

I saw the thing at slamfest a couple years back. I'm pretty sure I have pics of it at the house. It's a nice ride up close.

there's a guy on Blazinlow that converted his 4dr 4wd to 2wd and bagged it, the suspension work is very clean on it.

Re: Anyone have info on this BD blazer?

I called a place in cleveland today becouse i was just curiosue roman chariot they are well knowns for there work around here if somone buys a car new from the dealship and wants to have it customized before it leaves the dealer wisah ship it to them and they do the work
i asked them they said if mine is a 4wd wich it is for about 2500 after labor before taxes that includes parts and eveyrhtign they can bag all four wheels and drop it with a hydrolic system and all and would remove the front Diff
is that a good price
I am thinking maybe instead of replacing the front diff so i have 4wd again maybe just have it droped and bagged
but am i getting over charged here i know they use the best parts but not sure if that is a godo price

Yeah that's too cheap. I'm sure it would just be adjustable and probably wouldn't even lay hump. Good parts alone will cost more than that. I wouldn't ever put hydros on a vehicle, but that's my opinion. Just sell it and get a 2wd. Lambo doors are super gay.

Yes you have to cut everything out and weld in new tubs.

well tech right now it is a 2wd
even thout it is 4wd
i am just debating on weather to hve the front Diff Replaced to have the working 4wd or to just have it taken out but if they remove it do they hav eto get somthing off a 2wd from a bone yard or can they just remove the front diff if i where to cell the jimmy to be ohnest i would not buy another
s-10 evne with gas prices going down i would not get another truck
i would pick up a 2002 continental like my old one 26 mpg on the highway to me right now sounds better then selling the jimmy and buying another one that will only get 21mpg if im luycky

No it's still a 4wd. I get 21-23mpg, there is no way your 4wd gets 21mpg. Continentals are for 70yr olds.

Thank you, I am in a good mood today and didn't want to be rude, but....THANK YOU!

i was 17 when i have my first continental and they are not for 60 year olds LOL
they ride sweet and are good road cars
only reason i ever found myself driving the jimmy was my nabor owned a car lot and it was the only one on the lot he would let me have with intrest free financing for 12 months

also
i get 21mpg on the highway on long trips like from CLeveland to CT or NYC or when i drive to Florida I get 21mpg on the highway on long trisp
if im in the city i get about 18 or 18.5 if im lucky
what do you mena you get

21-23mpg
how the hell can i get that mouch and how can you get that mouch what are you driving the same as me ?
how can youg et 23mpg i would like to know that

Yes you're right, they're for 70 year olds like I said, I wouldn't be caught dead in one. Yes I have heard that they ride good, but if they're anything like my uncles LS and other LS's then it's a POS and very poorly designed.

I get 21-23mpg around town, never tried it on the parkway before.

Quote:

You have a 4wd, it weighs more and has more components.

Quote:

When I dropped it it started getting mpg, well maintained, don't drive like a fool. That's from the last time I checked it which was about a week ago, before that it was getting around 21mpg.

Lambo doors are gay, the only thing they look right on is a Lambo. They're overdone and tasteless on trucks. If you're wanting to fix your ride up to impress girls then just paint it pink with big ol flakes of metallic.

I cant even read anything that you were saying, pimping97jimmy. I tried reading your first two posts in here and then gave up on the rest. If you live in the USA, type like you do.

It sounds like you know nothing about bags or anything about what you want to do so dont even bother yet. For $3500 you will get a hackjob and the truck will be ruined.

the Lincoln LS is a POS but the Continental is the pure sports sedan for all ages the LS is not
atleast 2000 to 2004 are POS

when i use to hang out at summit auto racing and parts here in Ohio
And they ppl like from OHIORIDES and these ricers and ppl that had there soupedc up cars and grand ams grandprice neons's and other POS's thout that me and the others with the lincolns where crazy well think about it
I was 17 got a 1995 lincolnc continental yeah sure i spend 14k more than i would have if i bought a blazer or jimmy brandknew but still i had a lincolnc Continental that is 4000s pounds of american power with a Cobra 4.6 DOHC 280hp
so tell me that is not the shit
it was awesome having that ride
and if i had 9k right now i would go and buy a 2002
if i ever sell this jimmy or get another car whyll i still have the jimmy im going to get another continental they are not for 70 year olds
town cars are for 70 year olds not the conti's
and to each our own
i fell in love with my Jimmy but i didnt even like it when i first got it it was only becouse it was the only thing i could aford on my nabors car lot it was the only car he would let me have and pay him over time for
i hated it for the first 3 months but after time i loved it its a great vehicle
and ill probly keep it and come summer time get financed for another lincoln
But i am confused how do you get 21-23mpg in your S-10 in and around the city
what could be wrong iwth mind that i only get 18 in the city
i have never found anyone who gets that hi in the ciity im lucky if i get that on the highways what do you rocemend for that

It sounds like you know nothing about bags or anything about what you want to do so dont even bother yet. For $3500 you will get a hackjob and the truck will be ruined.

i don;t know anyting about aftermarket bags i know about factory airride bags like the ones in my lincolnc and Jag
and i live in the USA and i type bad becouse its a learning disability and i don't have to explain myself to you so don't think im being ruid becouse im not but i have a disability so leave me alone about that please

and i might have miss understood on the price but the place i called i would not be getting a hack job not from them look it up romian cheriot i think that is how they are spelt in cleveland ohio
they are one of the best custom shops in the ohio area
nothing to brag about but if you buy a car and trick it out before you take it off the lot that is where the dealers send it to
so im not sure what they are doing i just know i called about a price im not sure about doing it at all i was just curiouse about it becouse when i am ready to put the money in i am trying to figur eout if its worth fixing the four wheel drive or just leaving it the way it is
seems like there are alot of ppl here that want to bang on others who don't know mouch and want to ask about things and they dont know but its hard when ppl want to make it hard for us so if you have a problem with my spelling just know i am disabled and never learned proper grammar becouse our taxe dollar payed teaches just wanted to get me out of the class when i graduated so they did not teach me how to puntuaat so think about that

Yeah that's why Brian thinks it's gay, because he couldn't do it to his Blazer....

You don't need to fool with bagging a 4wd. Either get a 2wd or an amazing continental

That just screams "old person" to me. Yeah you're right, to each his own, but man....you sure you want that to be your own?

I just don't understand how a learning disabilty let's you spell most words perfectly but have no idea how to use a period and comma.

If you want, i will teach you. It's easy. instead of pushing the return button after a sentence, push the . button. It is two keys to the LEFT of the right shift key. you may also see a symbol like > that is located on the same button.

98 Tahoe, 83 Firebird(got it for free), 99 Sierra (show truck), 97 S-10, 94 fullsize (resto modded. I call it "resto" because I replaced 90% of the truck because of rust), 98 Blazer, and the wife owns an 08 Altima Coupe.

FYI my grandparents have a 98 4dr Blazer 4wd and compared to mine it rides like shit.
