Another DRL question / problem

Okay so I start my '00 Jimmy and the DRL's work as they should. But I just found out the other day when my wife was behind me driving it, that everytime the turn signals turn on the DRL's go off. After the turn signal cancels, the DRL's will come back on. Has anyone else had this problem. I have searched and read thru how to deactivate them but no answer to the problem. Also if I do the 4-poke of the dome overide it will shut them off as normal or if I 4-poke it again, they will come back on. And the 4-way flashers do not affect them. Just the turn signals.

TIA,
Cal

Sounds like a bad ground wire in the headlights or turn signals.

That was my initial thought, but have checked everything. As soon as the signal goes on the DRL goes off, as soon as the signal cancels they come back on. I have a feeling it is in the signal switch as I just replaced it a couple of month ago.
