An old player with a new game!

I've been into mini trucks for about 5 years now. It all started with an 89 GMC S-15 (pre-Sonoma) and that project ended on a snowboarding trip in Wisconsin. From there i moved on to a 95 S-10 with a lil gerbal powered 4 banger. That project has just recently come to an end. I put more heart and soul into that S-10 than almost anything i have ever built in my life. See i just traded in my lil lady for an absolutly beutiful Blazer. It's a black 2001 Blazer, 4 door, 2 wheel drive, with 35,000 miles on her. And ooowwwwwwww boy is she a looker!!!!

So anyway, all you blazer guys better watch out cause theres a new dog in town.

I've had the truck for 3 days now and its already got a 2 inch cowl hood on her. I'll post pics A.S.A.P.

2 doors are nice but when you got some kid and you still want your ride to look nice you are defenitly gonig to go with a 4 door

Re: An old player with a new game!

Ok, as of today I've had the Blazer for 1 week and 1 day. So far I've got a 2" cowl hood, Stainless gas door, Intake, Optima Yellow top battery, head unit, front speakers, 2 10" subs, i took the badges off and put my "ENVY" badge on. And I've had 3" Belltech springs in my garage for about four months now just waiting to get put on. But those have to wait till i get the spindles, leafs, and blocks.
Anyway, just wanted to let the world know that my Blazer is going from a stocker to a SHOCKER in less than 2 months. If its not done by the Indy Truck Bash then im not going. WORD!

PEACE

Re: An old player with a new game!

Ok, I just ordred spindles and blocks for my blazer. And oh yeah a Bag set up for the front

And only you people can even imagine how nice it feels just knowing that you got bags in the mail soon to be on your ride.

I also put some clear corners and street scene Cal Vue mirrors on her.

Not to bad for only getting it June 9th!

i don't like the back pie shaped windows on the 2 door. the back slants in too much. looks like a hatchback to me.

Re: An old player with a new game!

I've got pictures, but no offense dude but, i'm not putting any pics up until its done or at least almost done. Thats why i still have my old Signiture w/ my s-10 on it.

BUT i did just get ALL of my air bag stuff. With a 5 gallon chrome tank, ooohhhhhh boy is it shiny.

So just imagine an ALL black 4 door w/ a 2" cowl hood w/ the front end laying on the ground.

Re: An old player with a new game!

The gas door is horrid looking. You may as well add a big arrow that points to your gas door. I know the truck isn't done yet, but it seems like a step in the wrong direction. IMHO

I respect your opinion, but if i wanted an arrow pionting at my gas door i would have put one there. Since i didn't want an arrow i put a billet gas door. And hey man you gotta give me credit i've only had the truck for 2 months. 4 months down the line i might decide that i don't like the gas door either and if i do i'll take it off but for now im just tryin new stuff, you know. And besides its only bolt on so if i were to take it out, you'd never know that it was even there. But thanks for your opinion (not being a smart ass).

Yesturday i put the Chevy S-10 16" ZQ8 rims on it, I THINK that they add a nice lil touch to my Blazer since they never came on the that truck from the factory.

It's also sitting 1" lower b/c of the smaller tire, and i removed the bump stop from the lower control arm.

PEACE

The setup that i used was Belltech 2" drop spindles up front, 3" Belltech drop blocks out back, and the airbag setup is from the ONE AND ONLY Suicidedoors.com. It's actually the S10 forum special, talk to Jason at suicide and let him know what your interested in doing and he can help you out. It's something like $670 for the front setup. it includes pretty much everything you need except for the fittings. It comes with 5/8" lines but i got the 1/2". And it comes with a 110-145 pressure switch that i swapped out for the 145-175 psi switch (strongly suggested by me). To get my truck to sit the way that it is right now it cost a little less than $1,200, which is very inexpensive, considering what i have done. The guys at Suicidedoors.com are really cool and are willing to help out all mini-truckers with whatever they can.

Good luck

PEACE
