Adding module for factory keyless

I did a search and didnt come up with a good ideas, I have a 95 jimmy without keyless, I work at a wreaking yard and got a module and matching remote out of a 96 will this just plug or do I need a full harness, is there more to it other them programming it? I know this isnt the right thread I just figured it would get more help on this one. Thanks

Do you have power door locks? If so, my guess is that you can just swap the module and use the remote. Instructions for programming the module may be found in a factory service manual.

Yes its fully loaded, just no factory keyless.

I am really confused now I dropped the cover under my dash and there is a black box there, but it only has one plug in it not 2, did they change it mid 95 to a differant module?

Are sure about the location of the box for the door locks? The second set is probably for rear doors. Is your Jimmy 2 doors?

Yes its a 2 door, didnt even think of that.
