AC leaking into passenger floor? 97 blazer

Hey guys,

I took a road trip from philly to florida yesterday. stopped for the night in florida(after 16 hours of driving). Got in the blazer this morning to finish the rest of the trip and my girl noticed that after a about an hour of driving that the pass side carpet was soaked and it was leaking from the ac duct. Now the ac was on all 16 hours so i'm hoping that the condesor froze or something and then over night unfroze and that was all the condensation. The fluid did not smell like coolant so i'm pretty sure its not the heater core. Does anyone have any info on this? i'm kinda concerned cause i plan on making the trip back in 6 days and dont want anything to happen to my blazer. My girl said after i turned off the ac it kinda dripped out like when you turn off the faucet. she shoved tissues in the air duct and when i took them out they were soaked.

-Mike

Does the a/c work? And the condensor is in front of the radiator? Check your collant level just to make sure it's not the heater core. Simple checks.

how about the drain for the condesetion (sp) to let the water out.. when you run the ac is it driping under the blazer like it should?

it was dripping when its on and off. like i said i think it was just from being on for 16 hours straight. How would i go about getting air up there? just take a compressor and blow the air up the duct? thanks

sounds like the heater core is blown.

Is it water or a oily type of liquid. all coolants dont smell like coolant. Dexcool doesnt always smell either. I know it doesnt.

It is probably your condensate drain, make sure it isn't clogged.
