Re: ABS light
could it be the wheel baring? when the wheel bearing went in my 96 s10 that happened...the sensor thought the wheel wasnt moving or something because the bearing wasnt spinning...

Re: ABS light
sensor maybe dirty...loose wires...could be a number of things dealing with either the wheelbearings or the sensor...i THINK, you can correct me if im wrong but it has the 3 sensor, one on the drive at the back of the trans, and one on each front wheel, check the wires and what not

Re: ABS light
yeah hes right theres 3 sensors. jack the truck up and grab the wheel at the 12 and 6 o clock positiins and rock back and forth. if tehres play, you need new bearings. it also helps to have another person there to see if the bearing moves ehind the wheel too.

Re: ABS light
it takes 5 minutes to check outer wheel bearings in the front, pop off the center caps, then the cover and look...the in bearings you have to remove the assembly...i changed the front wheel bearings at a house i was building on the 96 s10 work truck i have...about 30minutes...
