Question A/C Evaporator - will 4 cyl work in v6

Just a quick A/C related question...

I am in the process of replacing the entire a/c system on my 96 Blazer. The compressor died last summer, it started grinding and knocking then finally seized, but before that the system would randomly vent itself. My buddy who is a Chrysler auto tech refilled the system and put in a couple of cans with the UV dye added. Sure enough about a week later my wife was driving the blazer and could hear the system vent and the a/c no longer blew cold. The friend and I went searching for the leak using his cool light and glasses, I felt all CSI like , but nothing... not a sign of dye anywhere. The compressor died soon after and I gave up.

Now that summer is back I am going to replace the entire system, I figure I since we couldn’t find the leak and since everything is 11 years old now it would be a good idea. I found all the parts I need but I have a question on the evaporator... which is the part that goes against the firewall next to the blower motor assembly and kinda looks like a radiator I think . My wife being the helpful soul bought a whole assembly from a guy on ebay that included the dryer and the entire fan/evaporator assembly and housing. It was from a 98 s10 that had been rear ended and totaled. The assembly is in fantastic condition but because its out of a truck with a 4 cyl I am concerned if the evaporator will work with the v6.

Does anyone know if it would work?
