which way does the fan come off i cant get it off either way any tricks,have to change the water pump

its a wrench that holds two bolts on the pulley and it has another wrench that gose on the big nut you can get it at oreillys....it tryed it that way and put a rag in between the pully and belt but the pully would just slip

an impact chisel with a pointed bit helps. it puts a little dimple in it but its fast
