99 gmc jimmy heater box

im new and this seemed like the most apropriate spot to post it so here is my questionon the bottom of the heater box there are 2 through bolts from the engine comparment and i cant find the heads to them, is there a heat shield or some thing that blocks them? i havent really tryed to had to find them because of the whole romoval of the dash thing agrevating me in the process.and yes i allready got the one you have to take out the blower motor resistor for
