99+ 4WD Question
Alright, I'm in the process of selling a truck to get a truck or whatnot and I test drove a 1999 Blazer LT today. I already have a 4WD S10 and when I want it in 4HI I just push it and it shifts into it without me having to shift into neutral or anything. The Blazer, however just blinked when I pushed it, driving and parked. I told the dealer about it and he said he was pretty sure you had to put it in neutral to get it in 4HI. Is that true for a 1999 Blazer, or should I tell him to fix it before I buy it? Thanks in advance.

Re: 99+ 4WD Question
Mine is shift on the fly no matter if in drive or neutral, but it's a 96. It's push button on the dash also, but it only does it for 4 High.

Re: 99+ 4WD Question
The only thing you should have to put it in neutral for is 4lo. It should shift into 4wd while moving.
