98 Blazer Electrical Woes!!

Ok, I recently picked up a beautiful 98 Blazer. The vehicle is all stock, and after finally retiring my 190K 94 4.3L S10, I decided that another chevy was in my future. Now, I have already changed out the front wiper control box (Same problem with my s10), the Idler Arm, Ball Joints, and replaced door pins/bushings. I only have 2 small problems left with this thing, and I'm hoping you guys can give me some insight, as I have searched, and not found much for good answers.

First of all, the dome lights are screwed. If I slide the dimmer switch to the top, they come on. If I push the override button, they come on. But they do not come on when any door is opened. I tried unplugging each of the door sensors, one at a time, with the over-ride switch in, and out, and nothing changed. I've read about a relay or module of some kind that controls this, but I have NO idea where to locate it. Any help would be great with this.

Secondly, my rear wiper doesn't work at all. (Big surprise right?) I have 3 different in-dash switches and none of them work. I have taken all 3 switches apart, and cleaned out the contacts to no avail. I also picked up another wiper motor from the junkyard, which didn't work at all either.
Now, I don't want to pay to order a new one from a parts store, if it won't work, and none of the local parts stores have one in stock to try, so I'd be paying to have one ordered in. As a side note with this, I checked the 4 wire plug for current. Of the 4 wires, one has a .5V+ Current, one has a 12V+ Current, and the other 2 have none (Obviously one is a ground) This plug goes into the relay box attached to the motor, and there is a plug that comes out from the other side, and goes directly to the motor. I'm not sure if the relay is fuxored or not, but I'm thinking its something before the relay.

Now, I don't want anyone to tell me to shave the wiper, because I live in Maine, it snows here, and during the summer, I'll be taking this thing down many a dirt road. I'd love to be able to clean the dirt off the rear window at will.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post!!
