97 s10--97 blazer gauges
Ok i bought a gauge cluster from a wrecked s10 pickup with a 2.2 5 speed 410 gear ratio and was wanting to know if i could just swap it over to my 4.3 auto 3.42 gear ratio.
Well i did change it over and now my tach is way off and speedo is off a little bit. Any ways to change it to work right? is a guage cluster set to certain rear end ratios motor type and rpm? Any info will be helpfull. when my blazer shifts now it shifts around "3500-4000" from the tach, but the blazer sounds no where around that. please help, i would love to use these gauges. Thanks guys |

Re: 97 s10--97 blazer gauges
u need to use the tach from your original cluster and that part will be fixed. As for the speedo it should be controlled by the ecu not the cluster. Correct me if I'm wrong someone.
