I would go back and check those grounds. The clicking under the driver side dash is probably one of the Body Relays.. Dunno which tho. Definitely check the grounds.
and ignore roady, he's a douche ![]() Last edited by AK49BWL : 01-27-2009 at 04:42 AM. |

i would take your dash back out and start over.. i just did a heater core myself and knwo that there is a mess of wires that you have to mess with... i dunno weahter you unpluged the main harness or took all the wires out of the dash and left it pluged in but regardless it is a pain... it sounds like you didnt plug in one of the connections close to the column... you could start by testing each thing that doesnt work to see if it has a good ground and main power with an ohm... do that before you take the dash out so you know whats what

well the main gound is accually in that loom that goes to the dash but the grounds you are looking for are small ones.. waht you wanna do is take each switch out that your having problems with.. then see if your getting power to them.. know what i mean.. like see if you have power going to the back of this switch

Re: 96 blazer light and such prob please help
if not then its a plug that isnt pluged in underneath.. more then likely the bcm... thats under the center console i think on your truck... i dunno could be different then mine since mines a 00.. its gonna be hard to find the problem.. its most definitly a loose plug or the plug isnt connected at all... i made all my connections first to make sure everything worked then i put the dash back in.. pain yes but i didnt have to do it twice..

not a problem.. like i said its probley gonna be onthe driver side right near the column... i think thats where all the different connections come into play.. its a mess under there so its gonna be hard to find but if you have one plug without a mate then the other isnt to far away..

Re: 96 blazer light and such prob please help
the streaght of the air coming out depends on what setting you have it on.. like if you have it on 4 when its set to the defrost it blows out crazy strong... but if its on vent it isnt as strong.. not a big deal since the my truck gets crazy warm in a matter of seconds when i have it on vent or floor... i dont know how strong yours is but mine is enough to irritate my eyes if its blowing on them..
