96 4WD 4.3 oil pan

My son rearended guy after owning car 2 weeks. Going to fix it but weird thing happened. the motor mount broke and the oil pan hit something and the oil pan is broke.

My question is. Is the 4wd oil pan the same as 2wd? And what years interchange. Dealer wants 200+ for oil pan alone.

Any help appreciated

no the 4wd and 2wd oil pans are different, the 4wd has a smaller sump to clear the front diff. you may be able to search ebay and fine some 4wd pans, good used ones and get one pretty cheap.
