95 blazer wont go to 4 hi
my 95 blazer will go into 4 lo but when i push button for 4 hi it just goes back to 2hi. sometimes when i start it up for the day all; of the indicator lights go out after start up then 2 hi lights up a few miles down the road. tried disconnecting battery but it only work for a few start up before acting up again.

Did you go in to neutral? Well having the truck roll forward 2-3 MPH?

i dont think he needs to be in n for 4hi, just not on the gas. you almost always need to be rolling for the front diff to engage the working a few times may be telling you that something is wrong with the shift solenoid , in your users manual there is a sequence to test to force it into 4wd, if that works you may need to replace the shift solenoid |

i did try it in nutral. and it will go into 4 lo but every time i try 4 hi it goes back to 2hi. i let off the gas and try it on the fly and it dosent even try to shift the light dosent blink or nothing. i will look in the owners manual for your suggestion. at first i kinda figured that there was a problem with the shift solenoid but with the lights on the buttons not working all the time i didnt know if it was the control module in the dash or the buttons them selves. im hoping someone can help me narrow these down as they seem to be costly
