94 s10 blazer
my son and i are converting a 94 4.3 std trans 4x2 to a buggy type ride (convertable ) eventually w/ a v8 conversion.
question 1 does any one have any ideas about a roll bar or cage question 2 how about an idea for the doors -- i would like 1/2 style but would like them to open / close and 3rd i am think of chrome exaust stacks where the door pillars were . help !! |

this probobly isn't any help, but i was looking at a 1st gen blazer and thinking how sweet it would look without a top. if you are making it a permenant convertible, you can resuse the doors and just cut out the top half, i was thinking about cutting off a roof and the top of the doors, but i know that its never gonna happen. as far as a rollbar, get some paper and start drawing out designs, try to engineer it for strength. the only way to get it done the way you want it is to do it yourself. then get some tubing, a bender, and a welding machine, and well you can probobly figure out the rest. good luck, be sure to post pics in the end.
